Description
An archaeological evaluation was carried out on land at Little Thurlow Hall, Little Thurlow (TL 674 510); TUL 020. The trial trench evaluation was carried out at the above site from 28th to the 30th April 2010 in advance of a proposal to redevelop the site. A number of features of archaeological interest were recorded during the work. These were undated field boundary ditches that may be elements of a trackway, as well as pits, post-holes, and planting features associated with the formal gardens.
