Description
Archaeological monitoring was carried out on the site of the village centre as part of the Cedars Park development. The topsoil stripping was observed and the subsoil and natural deposits were inspected for archaeological features. The monitoring focused on groundworks associated with an access road and development on the site. The site was stripped to an average depth of 0.5m and encountered a level of natural boulder clay at approximately 0.45m (S1).
