PROJECT DETAILS In March 2013, OA East carried out an archaeological watching brief at Great Cornard Mains replacement (TL 892 413). The monitoring was carried out during the replacement of a mains water pipe. Archaeological features identified during excavation of the pipe trench included one undated burnt tree-throw to the north of the trench and one possible post-medieval feature to the south-eastern end of the trench.
