PROJECT DETAILS An area of 0.3 hectares was evaluated by trial trenching as a condition of planning permission to develop the site. Four trenches were excavated, one of which produced a large pond type feature containing a small quantity of 18th-19th century finds. The study area had been heavily disturbed by modern agricultural buildings.
