Description
Evaluation identified a modern pit was present in Trench 1. It contained modern glass and metal fragments, and a plastic toothbrush. Two irregularly shaped modern pits and a ditch were present in Trench 2. They also contained modern plastic, glass and metal fragments. The site had been subject to ground disturbance associated with the construction of the adjacent houses. A modern concrete-lined soakaway was present in the north-eastern corner of the area. A modern underground electric cable traversed the site in an approximately in NE/SW direction was located in Trench 1.
