Description
All footings to east were cemented. Only c.4m of west side open for view. All topsoil removed. Chalk very shallow (on surface at south end, c70cm at north end, pale (natural?)) Numerous subsoil solution voids with loam over pale/medium brown chalky and flinty refills and root hollows and recent trenches/holes etc. Topsoil and spoil removed from site. No definate archaeology (S1).
