Description
Visit made to view excavated footings. Trenches over 2m deep to 500m overburden (dark brown loam topsoil c.300mm thick, mid brown silty clay subsoil c.200mm thick over hard compacted clay. No features seen but top 500-6000mm crumbly and meshed by chalk flecks from beneath.
