Description
The site was visited in April 2005 in order to inspect groundworks for the new batching plant. Only a limited amount of groundwork was required, primarily skimming the surface to create a regular base for a concrete raft, which did not reveal any archaeological or undisturbed natural subsoil deposits. Consequently no significant archaeological deposits, features or artefacts were identified.
No previous undisturbed deposits or natural subsoil was encountered by the groundworks. Consequently no significant archaeological deposits were damaged or destroyed by this development.
