Description
Footing trenches for a new double garage on the site of an old prefabricated garage. Site seen before excavation and after. The fottings were very shallow, no more than 25cm deep, cut through partially disturbed topsoil, and did not penetrate to natural. The footing trenches and spoil heap were examined and occasional fragments of post-medieval brick and tile and modern glass were seen.
