Description
The trenching did not penetrate beneath disturbed upper soil layers. It was intended to dig one deep manhole but this proved unnecessary as a drain already existed in a suitable location. An insufficiently large area was stripped to draw any conclusions about the presence/absence of archaeology at this site.
