Description
Two site visits made during the main groundwork phase of the site. Conditions were very wet and boulder clay on the site impeded drainage, most of the development area was examined following the removal of 300mm of topsoil. Footing trenches were seen at the northern end of the site. No features of archaeological interest were noted and only finds were pottery and brick of 17th to 20th century date.
