Description
All existing buildings demolished with permission for 3 new houses. Footing trenches dug 4 partially concreted for the first house on the west side of the plot. Examined from side only - to the west natural gravel at the stripped surface and no obvious archaeological features. In the central and eastern footings. There was a layer of mixed brown soil with post-medieval debris in the top and various possible features (probably recent). Spoil heaps of site, rapidly scanned, only Post Medieval/recent material seen.
