Description
Archaeological monitoring was carried out ahead of an extension of a campsite. The proposed development area covered approximately 2.5ha. Works included the excavation of two soakaways and connected pipe trenches, a new toilet block and the placement of small pits for 24 trees along the eastern edge of the site. The excavations reached a maximum depth of 1m. No finds or features of archaeological interest were identified (S1).
