Description
Archaeological monitoring was carried out during ground works associated with the construction of a new garage. An area measuring 11m by 5m was excavated within the development area. The natural land surface to the north of the Star Inn was observed to be truncated which may represent quarrying of the underlying crag sand. Post medieval features were identified.
