800m of stripped pipeline was monitored for archaeological features. The western part of the pipeline only involved trenching work in the roadside verge, with relatively little ground disturbance. The eastern half involved topsoil stripping at 6m wide. In this latter portion of the pipeline archaeological features were noted at four different points (S1).
