Description
Trial trench evaluation was carried out in advance of the creation of a contractors compound associated with proposed improvements to the water works. Six trenches were excavated revealing a natural subsoil that varied between yellow/orange sand and gravel to a grey boulder clay and lay at depths varying between 0.25m-0.8m (S1).
