Description
Strip and map survey on land at Eye Airfield Industrial Estate, Suffolk during groundworks for a wind farm development. All topsoil and overburden was removed under constant archaeological supervision. Turbine bases were excavated down to the natural substrate or the archaeological
horizon. The strip and map survey identified a relict field boundary but no other significant archaeological features or finds.
