Description

2016: An archaeological evaluation was undertaken prior the construction of a residential development in an area of 0.25ha. The evaluation consisted of five trenches, totalling 70m long and 1.8m wide. This amounted to a 5% sample of the overall site. The site had been subject to significant change since the late 19th century which caused significant truncation. A ditch and a wall of 19th century or earlier date were identified.
