Description
An archaeological excavation was carried out in advance of the construct of an access road off Scrivener Drive. The excavation consisted of a controlled topsoil strip of the entire road using a mechanical excavator operated under archaeological supervision. This was followed by hand excavation and recording of significant features that may be encountered. A total area of 1140m2 was mechanically stripped (S1).
