Description
An archaeological excavation was carried out following evaluation trenching on the site and prior to the construction of a new retail-led development. Ahead of the excavation a measured a photographic survey was under taken to record the pre-Cattle Market boundary walls before they were demolished. The main excavation covered an area of 5,200 square meters.
