Archaeological monitoring was carried out on the excavation to re-open an old drainage ditch channel which connects the car park to the adjacent drainage ditch. The trench measured 17m long, 0.45m wide and up to 0.5m deep, sloping down towards the adjacent drainage ditch. No archaeological features were exposed in the trench, nor were any pre-modern finds recovered from the sections or the available spoil (S1).
