Description
An archaeological evaluation was carried out prior to the redevelopment of the site. The evaluation consisted of nine trenches, each measuring between 30m and 40m long and 1.8m wide. The trenches were excavated to a maximum depth of 0.83m. Some of the trenches had been heavily truncated by a modern cess chamber. A 19th century foundation was identified.
