Description
An archaeological evaluation was carried out prior to phase one of a planned development of industrial units. The evaluation consisted of four trenches measuring 15m by 1.8m and one trench measuring 10m by 1.8m. The trenches all measured between 0.3m and 0.35m deep before encountering the natural with 0.25m of topsoil and 0.05m of subsoil overlaying it. Some later prehistoric activity was identified.
