Description
Archaeological monitoring was carried out on ground works for a new grain store. The site was initially soil striped to a depth of between 0.15m and 0.30m. Stanchion pad base pits were excavated along the long axis of the footprint with each row comprising of 6 pits. The pits measured between 1.7-2.2m long by 0.8m wide. The pits were excavated to a maximum depth of 1m. Two flint flakes were identified.
