Description
A single evaluation trench was excavated at a right angle to the road. The trench was c.8m long and 1.5m wide. It was excavated to a maximum depth of 1m, but at the top of the natural subsoil measured at a depth between c.0.6m to 0.8m. Monitoring of the site was carried out following the evaluation trench (S1).
