Description
Archaeological monitoring was carried out on the insertion of a new door into the northern end of the main barn, within the infilled wall that was not original. This process we monitored to see if the foundations or floor levels of the original structure were uncovered. No features related to the original structure were encountered, although blue-grey clay was recorded as starting to appear c.0.38m below the modern surface level (S1).
