Description
Archaeological monitoring was carried out on the excavation of footing and service trenches for a house extension. The first visit was to inspect an L shaped trench that measured 7m in length, 0.7m wide and was excavated to a depth of 1m to 1.1m. The second visit was made to inspect a pipe trench that ran approximately 14.5m in length, 0.4m in width and was excavated to a maximum depth of 0.88m. A possible Late Iron Age/Early Romano-British pit was identified (S1).
