Description
An archaeological evaluation was carried out within an area of land formerly occupied by the Pegasus Boatyard in advance of a residential development. The site consisted of ten evaluation trenches measuring between 22m and 31m in length and 2.2m wide. This equates to over 4% of the total development area. The trenches were excavated to a maximum depth of 1m. No finds or features of archaeological interest were identified (S1).
