Description

A fieldwalking survey was carried out prior to the proposed construction of new football pitches and associated facilities on the site. Only the larger southern field could be walked as it has been ploughed. The northern field was under grass and thus was unable to be walked. The weather conditions during the fieldwalking were considered good. The field was divided into approximate 50m squares and walked on north to south transects at 5m intervals. The fieldwalking was carried out simultaneously to a metal detecting survey (See ESF24232) (S1).
