Description
Archaeological monitoring was carried out on ground works associated with the development of a solar farm at Toggam Farm. The work involved the excavation of footings for an AC converter, two sets of cable trenching and a narrow trench for CCTV cables. The trenches and footings were excavated to a maximum depth of 1m. The only features identified were 20th century pits and there was no evidence of deep ancient peat deposits from the site.
