Description

An archaeological evaluation was carried out in advance of a residential development on the site. The evaluation consisted of five trenches evenly distributed across the site measuring between 13.1m and 20m long by 1.8.m wide. No pre-modern features were identified due to likely modern truncation of the site, although a medieval horseshoe was identified during metal detecting.
