Description
An archaeological evaluation was carried out in advance of a residential development on the site. The trenches were positioned to maximise the area coverage and to investigate selected anomalies identified in the magnetometer survey. A total of fourteen evaluation trenches measuring 50m by 1.8m were excavated across the site. This revealed later prehistoric and post medieval features.
