Description

An archaeological evaluation was carried out prior to the construction of a new stable building at Stutton House. A total of four trenches were excavated within the proposed footprint. The trenches measured 10m long by 1.8m wide and were dug to a maximum depth of 0.45m. A 19th century pond and land drain were identified .
