Description
An archaeological watching brief was carried out on the haul road, contact main, linkage pipes and the kiosk. The haul road was stripped to a depth of 0.4m. The contact main was striped to a maximum depth of 0.9m while the pipe trench measured 6 to 7m wide and 2.5m deep. The foundations of the kiosk were only c.0.2m deep.
