Description
Archaeological monitoring was carried out on works to recreate heathland by the excavation of two deep trenches followed by the burying of adjacent topsoil. The trenches measured 20m and 22m long and were excavated to a maximum depth of 2.4m. No finds or features of archaeological interest, beyond the presence of a possible WWII bomb crater, were identified.
