Monitoring of the directional drilling pits and easement excavated through the parkland. Four drill puts were monitored, measuring 3.0m long, 1.6m wide and 1.2m deep. No features were revealed however a small assemblage of finds were recorded. An easement strip in the field to the north-west of the drill pits was also monitored. A dense group of Roman remains were revealed which lead to the ceasing of the machine stripping. The area was re-designated as an archaeological excavation.
