Description
Strip map and sample of area 37 following on from previous trial trenching.
The topsoil on the site was characterised by dark brown silty sand and overlay a subsoil of mid brown silty sand. Below the subsoil, superficial geology comprising midorangey brown silty sand with light yellowish orange clay pockets was observed across site to a depth of 0.46m below ground level (BGL) at a maximum height of 22.48m aOD. Colluvial deposits were identified throughout the site across all the zones.
