Description
Archaeological excavation carried out on land rear of 49-55 Schoolfield after previous evaluation trenching (see ESF23183) in advance of the construction of 15 dwellings and associated works. The area of excavation was c.0.17ha and targeted trenches 4 and 6 of the evaluation. The results show 4 phases of activity from Early Bronze Age to Roman (S1).
