Description
An English Heritage Level 2 survey in advance of the creation of an off-site replacement habitat site to replace an area of SSSI lost during the A11 Fiveways to Thetford Improvement Scheme. It comprised of an initial site reconnaissance walkover in order to identify any earthworks. As features were identified for detailed recording, this site visit was followed the next day by a field survey visit. The principal features recorded by the survey were a linear bank and two possible degraded barrows; this bank and associated features may also be of prehistoric origin.
