Description
Mechanical desilting of the moat at Bruisyard Hall was monitored for archaeological features and finds. 18th-20th century finds were found and a timber structure was recorded at the north end of the western arm. All of the structural timbers were left in situ as the water in the newly desilted moat will preserve them for future investigation (S1).
