Description
Archaeological evaluation was carried out ahead of residential development. 9 trenches were excavated to an average depth of 0.37m-0.44m. The natura geology of brown yellow sand was overlain by a mid grey-brown silty sand subsoil (0.07m-0.24m thick), which in turn was overlain by a dark brown sandy silty topsoil (0.24m-0.30m thick) (S1).
