Description

Evaluation trenching and follow-up monitoring of ground works for a sinle dwelling development did not reveal any archaeological features. Roman pottery was recovered from the top of the subsoil. 1 trench was excavated, topsoil was 0.4m thick, subsoil was brown sandy and 0.4m-0.54m thick, which overlayed drift geology which was yellow sand with flints (S1).
