Description
Monitoring of groundworks for an extension. No archaeological features or finds were recorded. The footing trenches measured 0.6m wide and 1.7m deep. The soil profile comprised a dark brown clay loam topsoil with regular modern inclusions (glass, brick, tile, etc.) that was 0.35m thick over the natural subsoil which was a pale brownish yellow chalky boulder clay with occasional flints.
