Description

Excavation was conducted following evaluation in advance of the development of a solar farm. A total of 15 evaluation trenches were opened, targeted on geophysical anomalies identified in the south east corner of the site. Base on this evidence two excavation areas were opened targeted on parts of the site where the development would impace on the archaeological deposits (S1 and S2).
