Description
Monitoring of extensive series of service trenches across former farm yard. Trenches revealed 250/300mm of sandy topsoil with may 19/20th century brick and tile fragments over sand/gravel. In a few places remnants of 19th century crushed chalk yard surface survived but generally the yard area was heavily disturbed with no features or finds pre-dating c1800 (S1).
