Description
Evaluation was carried out on a site approx 0.4ha. The 70m trench covered an area of 105sqm which was approx 2.6% of the site. The sandy topsoil varied in depth across the site from 0.05m-0.5m. The surface of the naturally occuring sands were cut by a series of N-S running plough or subsoiling marks and irregular disturbances caused by the burrowing of rabbits. No features were recorded (S1).
