Description
A detailed gradiometry survey was conducted over approx 29ha of recently harvested barley. The survey identified a former field boundary as the only probably archaeology on the site. The remaining anomalies are likely to be of modern or geological origin with a small number being of possible archaeological origin. The modern features identified include agricultural activity, an area of scattered magnetic debris, a pathway, land drains, an underground service and fencing. A number of magnetic spikes have also been identified, which are likely to be related to modern ferrous objects (S1).
