Description
Archaeological evaluation works for a planned residential development on land between Treetops and Candlet Road, Felixstowe that has been given planning consent under application DC/17/3211.
The development area was trenched to an agreed plan with a total sample length of 103m. The trenching was carried out using a medium sized 360 machine equipped with a 1500mm flat bucket which was under archaeological supervision at all times and any indistinct areas were hand cleaned as necessary to improve clarity with all 10 of the trenches being 1.80m wide.
