Description

Survey of Breckland Rabbit Warrens was undertaken in 2015 as part of Breaking New Ground LSP. Eleven warren sites were investigated to determine the extent and condition of surviving internal archaeological features, along with research into archival material. In addition, an example of a surviving warren bank was clared and conserved, and fieldwalking undertaken at lodge sites. Volunteers were trained in archaeological surveying and recording techniques, as well as in archival research (S1).
