Description
Excavation of 4 areas covering 47,22 sqm was carried out ahead of development, funded by English. An earlier phase of excavation was carried out in 1998. Two further phases of excavation were carried out in 2000. The total area of all four separate excavation phases totalled 2.85ha. The site produced Roman and Anglo-Saxon features (S1).
